Richard Tirado is a graduate of UCLA, where he majored in Biology and minored in Anthropology. His personal experience with ulcerative colitis has shaped his interest in the mind-gut connection and fueled his passion for promoting healthier, more mindful lifestyles.
He is an incoming first-year medical student in the MD program at the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Richard aspires to become a physician who draws on both his personal experiences and training to provide empathetic, holistic care to his patients.
