MariaLisa Itzoe, DO, MPH

Dr. MariaLisa Itzoe, DO, MPH, is a gastroenterology fellow at Maimonides Medical Center in New York City. She completed her internal medicine residency at Pennsylvania Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where she developed a passion for helping patients with disorders of gut-brain interaction (DGBI). MariaLisa specializes in neuro-gastroenterology, gastropsych, and health communication. She is also a certified yoga instructor with a strong interest in exercise, nutrition, and their effects on physical and mental wellbeing.
